If I had to choose one photo of the Lexus LFA from last weekend's Nürburgring 24h race, it would have to be this one by photographer Guillaume Tassart.
As unusual as it seems, this recent Motor Trend review on the 2011 Lexus CT 200h comes to the defence of the hybrid hatchback's powertrain, and that "the Lexus combines reasonably sporty responsiveness with unsurpassed fuel economy."
After taking another look at the recent spy shots, I'm now convinced it must be the 2012 Lexus GS under all that camouflage -- here's a better comparison shot with the LF-Gh concept (plus a little photoshopped perspective in the spy shot).
After much anticipation, the Nürburgring 24h Race weekend is here! I'll be updating throughout the weekend with any news I come across, and I encourage everyone to post links and updates in the comments section.

Owned by Club Lexus member Anthony, this GS is sporting Varrstoen ES 1.1.2 wheels, with the crazy low drop provided by Megan LP Coilovers with custom front RCA’s. The final touch is the Toyota TTE Front Lip -- a subtle touch that brings the whole thing together. Great build.
As proof that people will do anything to get a Lexus, an Akron, Ohio baseball team let five folks into a 1996 LS 400 for an endurance contest -- the last remaining person will win the car. At last count, this has been going on for 36 hours with two men remaining.

Last week, I picked up a 2011 Lexus IS 350 AWD from Lexus Canada HQ for a road test, and so far, I've found it a very easy car to drive fast. I don't know if it's the AWD system or the memory of the LFA driving school, but there's some serious confidence happening in this car.

Every once and a while, I'll read a review or article about Lexus and notice an inaccuracy -- usually a minor technical point or some obscure historical fact. Mistakes happen, no problem.
What's unusual is to see an article built on nothing but mistakes, where even elementary facts are ignored -- but that's what I found with Nelson Ireson's Motor Authority editorial on how the Lexus LFA is a failure.
