When I spotted a 2012 Lexus CT 200h F-Sport during the Pebble Beach Concours a couple weeks back, it was notable for two reasons — not only was it my first look at the F-Sport option package, it was also showing off the new Nebula Gray Pearl exterior paint.
Following the 2013 GS 350's Thursday debut in Pebble Beach, Lexus set the prototype up in a tent for this weekend's Concours d'Elegance, and included in this display was examples of all the next-gen GS exterior color options.
You may remember Lexus LFA #095 as the star of a now-aborted eBay auction, but before it’s internet stardom, it made an appearance at a Cars & Coffee event, and that’s where Flickr photographer Stefan Dume took these photos.
This video of a matte black Lexus IS-F from Russia is a must-watch, if only for the video quality (though I do recommend turning the sound off if you’re watching at work or easily offended): Although I’ve never been a huge fan of the Wald Black Bison kit, the look is toned down considerably by …
Update: At the request of the photographer, I’ve removed the images of the three Lexus LFAs. The original images he posted at Club Lexus & his Flickr account have also been removed.
As per request, here is the Metallic Silver Lexus LFA photo from the last post as a desktop wallpaper: Select Resolution: 1920×1080 | 1680×1050 | 1440×900 | 1280×1024 | 1280×800 | 1024×768 The LFA owners manual has a bunch of great photos. Just wait until you see the interior later today — it’s something special. …
Last week, we had a look at the first three Lexus LFAs to arrive in North America, and now we can see the rest of the first shipment delivered to California — six LFAs in all — courtesy of Club Lexus editor flipside909. The remaining LFAs are all in colors we’ve seen before: #004 Whitest …
Here we have some more photos of the orange Lexus LFA first seen earlier this week: From the looks of things, the LFA is being loaded for its trip to the Detroit Auto Show next week, where it’s scheduled to be the centerpiece of the Lexus display — meaning we can expect plenty more photos …
By way of the Lexus Magazine Twitter account, here’s a sneak peek at an orange Lexus LFA making its way to the Detroit Auto Show next week: No further details just yet, but what a wild color — just perfect for the middle of winter in Detroit. [Source: Twitpic]
These Matte White Lexus IS-F photos from Import Bible are the next instalment of my unofficial Vinyl Wrap week: Matte white is funny — white is hardly the most reflective paint color to begin with, but that extra opacity just gives the surface a subtle boost that I really like. (Thanks for the idea, Mark!)
And here we go — the first high-quality photo of the Lexus CT 200h in something other than white (click for a larger version): Seeing the CT 200h in blue is somewhat curious, considering it wasn’t listed as one of the colors on the Lexus USA mini-site — but it would hardly be the first …
A blue Lexus LFA has been filmed in Japan: This second video has some closeups, along with footage of the interior: Truth be told, I’m generally not a fan of blue, but on the LFA it looks super-fine—here’s the money shot: So we’ve seen white, black, matte-black, red & blue—what color’s next? (My guess: silver.) …
The Lexus CT 200h color options have been revealed today as part of the hatchback’s new mini-site—first off, here are the exterior colors: There are seven exterior colors in total: Starfire Pearl, Obsidian, Daybreak Yellow Mica, Smoky Granite Mica, Brown Spice Mica, Tungsten Pearl, & Matador Red Mica. Then there are the interior colors: The …
Lexus has announced that the SC 430 will cease production in July, ending the nine-year run of the second generation sports coupe. To mark the occasion, Lexus Japan will be offering a special, limited edition dubbed The Eternal Jewel, which will bring an extreme level of customization to both the interior & exterior color choices, …
Two pieces of Lexus Pebble Beach news today, first off, the much searched-for Pebble Beach commercial has surfaced on Youtube: Not much to the commercial, it’s strictly an announcement-style advertisement, but the Pebble Beach edition color really catches my attention. It’s nice to see it on more than just the SC 430. The other news …
Before launching this site in June 2007, I made up a list of rules that I wanted to follow, and the very first thing I wrote down was “Leave the site design alone for six months.” As a professional web designer, I have a tendency to tweak sites obsessively, but in this case I wanted …
Autospies has a preview of the color combinations available for 2008 Lexus LX 570, including what may be the strangest hue to ever cover a Lexus: It resembles the Aquamarine Pearl color available for the ES 350, which is probably where it should have stayed. Not very flattering, to say the least. Be sure to …
Lexus has issued a new batch of IS-F photos today, replete in every available color but Starfire Pearl. It’s really a shame that this car was featured in that awful blue for so long, all the other colors suit it much better. That black is just perfect.
A gay blue peacock, living at the stately British home of Sir Benjamin Slade, apparently developed quite a liking to an employee’s blue Lexus, and as a result, caused £4,000 of damage with its attempted lovemaking: The car was left with numerous scratches and dents as a result of the frisky bird’s amorous attack, and …
Lexus has started the party early by offering a special edition of the IS-F through the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue. Only fifty will be made, and will sport the following differences over the “regular” IS-F: Exclusive black with white accent stitching interior Hand-polished gun-metal rims F logo embossed into headrests Numbered Special Build badge Retailing …
There isn’t much to this video of the IS-F’s introduction at a Lexus District Dealer Seminar, but if you have a love of screeching tires, this one is going to be hard to beat: Chances are low, but if there’s really only one white IS-F in North America, it’s sure taken a beating. [Via: Club …
As if on cue, photos emerged today on Club Lexus of a silver Lexus IS-F, taken by Claude Feltz at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Without a doubt, my point is proven, the IS-F doesn’t just look a little better in colors other than blue, it looks fantastic! (Special thanks to Claude for letting me …
With all of the negative opinion circulating around the IS-F, this Edmunds preview seems almost upbeat: On paper the 2008 Lexus IS-F stacks up well against the M3, not to mention the Audi RS4 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. In the metal, the IS-F’s appearance is polarizing (“F stands for FUGLY! The car looks wack,” said …
After yesterday’s lengthy post examining Lexus’ decision to create their F-Division, I was left with an uncomfortable feeling, and it was quite clear to me where it was coming from. There is, and will always be, a distinct difference between theory and practice, and while I think it’s important for Lexus as a brand to …
When the IS-F surfaced this weekend in multiple colors, I was quite surprised how different the car looked in shades other than blue. Even more than the red version, I loved the white, which seemed to diffuse some of the louder design characteristics, particularly the side vents. Sadly, there were only a few images to …
The new Lexus IS-F was in Southern California this week, flown in from Japan for the Orange County Taste of Lexus event, where some members of Club Lexus were lucky enough to get some in-car time with chauffeured laps around the famous Laguna Seca racetrack. Here’s a great video look at the time on the …
