The big market getting the special treatment, as usual.

Gotta keep my expectations down on the powertrain side to prevent myself from feeling disappointed 🙃.

Greeting! Here some internal information for the ChDM 9th. Gen Camry.

It has 3 different types of exterior, LE/SE/XSE. Directly translate mean LE had "One-piece grille, reflecting the style of the new energy hybrid", SE are global design "Embodying sporty and fashionable style", and XSE "making more sporty and luxury"

The powertrain are using 2L/2.5L Hybrid. I guess both hybrid system combined output are same for current Gen. and 12th Gen Corolla(2.0L hybrid)

At last ChDM Camry will using the Qualcomm S8155 automobile SOC for media system. 64-color interior ambient lighting and 6 type of aroma switching.

Not sure how I feel about that front end. Hopefully that’s not the SE/XSE.

No surprises in engine department:
2.5 NA?
2.5 HEV?
T24?
I don't expect prime.

Leaked photos.. wow I'm disappointed. We made fun of the new Accord for being more or less the same.. but this is literally just the current gen with a restyled front and rear clip and new interior. Roof does slope earlier but the door bodylines look the same to current gen.

Interior looks great. Exterior is good too, I was just expecting much more.

The 2025 Toyota Camry will only be available as a hybrid, ditching any conventional gas-burning engines, even as an option. Hybrids are well and fully the mainstream.
The first is that the fifth-generation hybrid system that Toyota is using here, imaginatively called THS 5, has an interesting quirk. Standard for this new Camry is front-wheel drive and two electric motors, which gives a combined 225 hp. Optional is all-wheel drive, but this is not a traditional mechanical system, which directs engine power to all four wheels as needed. In this case, Toyota just slapped another electric motor at the rear of the car to drive the back wheels as needed. This is functionally all-wheel drive, and gives the AWD Camry a combined 232 hp.

Toyota has been on a roll lately so I expected another hit with the Camry but... this ain't it.

The exterior design is a downgrade for sure. The curvy body lines from the 2018-2024 don't match up at all with the new squared off rear end or the new insect front end (which is awkward looking).

Interior is a mixed bag. New screen and Crown steering wheel are nice, but the huge black plastic arm across the dash is horrible.

Specs and hybrid-only are wins, but the design...... yikes, fam.
