Lexus LS 460 Promotional Video

A couple weeks ago, I featured a video released for the launch of the third-generation Lexus LS, and now here’s something similar for the current LS 460:

I’ve seen more LS 460s & 600hLs travelling through California these last three days than the rest of my life combined, same thing with the LS 430 and nearly every other Lexus ever made. The car culture in this state is hard to beat.

aha Yep! That's us - CA! I'm divided between the original fourth-generation LS and the facelifted version. The original has a very nice, concept - very clean and crisp, like a modern sculpture, but the facelift is a lot more pleasing to the eye from most angles and a has a lot more classy look.

    I would never turn my nose up at any fourth-gen LS, but the 2010 MY update really improved the look of the front-end.

    Sorry guys, but I have to disagree with both of you! The facelift may look more eye-catching in the metal, but to my eyes the clean simple lines of the mark1 LS460's front & rear still look best. Look at the distinct 'V' shape of the hood which flows all the way down the grille to the air dam thus bisecting it. Now how many cars have a bisected air dam? The original fog lamp design is infinitely better than the 'circle in rectangle' messy look. Also there is no geometric precision ie parallel lines to the shape of the air dam vents & the rear license plate housing. I could go on... Basically I've decided that this is a kind of 'retrograde facelift' & similar changes can be seen in the new facelifted IS.

great video. I also love the auto show release of the LS, they play that song make with the champagne glasses which is very beautiful. On a side note, Im having trouble finding the RX launch video if you happen to have it somewhere...

I think LA has more Lexus dealers than all of Canada! I do love the 430 but the 460 is the one - make that the 600 You should bring back a couple LS sedans with you as souvenirs

come to honolulu and then you'll see a car culture that rivals LA, i admit though not as many exotics...BUT there's alot of everything else luxury

Us californians really love our cars! It's funny, The majority of the cars on the road are luxury cars...when I drive around I blend in. Tons of lexi, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, infinity, acura, jags, etc... And it seems normal to me... Then I go to another state - and I'm the only Lexus on the block and I realize ... Only in CA! haha...

Here in Australia you probably see 7 Lexus LS460 in a year lol But I saw a LS460 the other day and let me tell you that car has the most unique and sophisticated presence.. It looks so good you just want to look at it, and it was also silent..
