Literally Tesla's biggest selling point the last few years has been its own supercharging network. That's a real big brain move firing nearly everyone from the supercharging department, that'll help in the long run. Seems like Tesla will wind up going the way of Twitter if Elon stays in charge.

My first thoughts...

Tesla wants to build state-of-the-art EVs, yet they do not want to build the special high-speed charging infrastructure that allows their EVs to operate more efficiently and effectively?

Does anyone know what the Supercharger department is responsible for? Is it just building the Supercharger network or is it also responsible for maintaining the network?

And this is coming soon after Tesla is opening up its Supercharger network to other automakers. Are they trying to give with one hand but take away with the other?

Get industry to commit to your standard and then let it rot on the vine, forcing them to shift back to their own solutions which you can then plug into since they already engineered around your plugs, standards, etc.
