Anecdotally, the eAWD on my wife's UX300h has been really impressive so far. It doesn't have an obvious FWD feeling and the more powerful rear motor that came with the 300h is shown as contributing up to 60mph. So, it is effective where AWD is really useful. That's a big improvement over the previous model that had very limited input from the rear motor. For cars that are neither rock crawlers or track machines, this is a very balanced system.

Because the eAWD is electronic means it should be much more easily integrated with other electronics systems like traction and stability control, and much more easily configurable. I would not be surprised if Toyota is tweaking parameters right now to make the eAWD system work better -- as well as the mechanical system.

Some have been criticizing Doug for his prior Land Cruiser ownership; he didn't do his 200 any good as he did some "janky" repairs to it as it had sit mostly on Nantucket, and probably the reason why he got rid of it because he didn't give it the proper care it deserved (Or take it to the right mechanics to work on it).

Wonder when he will put his TRD Pro Sequoia on C&B...

Does the Prius AWD or Camry AWD drive better?

Two issues with the Prius is the angle of the windshield (too sharp) and the rear visibility is cut off by the smaller window/spoiler.

Not much of a competition here lol, we all know what happened to the Accord and Hyundai/Kia's regular fwd based cars always have crappy chassis. While the new Camry is basically an improved version of the previous Camry.
