It's about as quick as the mid pack bmw 5 series and e class but neither should be considered benchmark since they are even heavier than the crown also crown sedan although looks nice feels like it was an afterthought i don't think they intended on making the sedan but later decided they needed one after the severe backlash they got when news broke of crown becoming an suv cause it was a year later news came out that there would also be a sedan and the sedan wasn't even ready by the official launch it was released about 1 and half year later. Than decided to give it the most lethargic power train they could think of. The sedan only has one variant that is the top of the line and they decided to downgrade the engine not even to the t24a but the a25 which isn't powerful enough for this size of car.
As far as es is concerned that car has always been a bit more practical and functional than crown due to its fwd nature but this time that gap is huge
