The Sedan is slow and inefficient. The ES300h and RX350h are both faster and use less fuel.

Arguably one of the worst products they designed in the past few years.

It's about as quick as the mid pack bmw 5 series and e class but neither should be considered benchmark since they are even heavier than the crown also crown sedan although looks nice feels like it was an afterthought i don't think they intended on making the sedan but later decided they needed one after the severe backlash they got when news broke of crown becoming an suv cause it was a year later news came out that there would also be a sedan and the sedan wasn't even ready by the official launch it was released about 1 and half year later. Than decided to give it the most lethargic power train they could think of. The sedan only has one variant that is the top of the line and they decided to downgrade the engine not even to the t24a but the a25 which isn't powerful enough for this size of car.

As far as es is concerned that car has always been a bit more practical and functional than crown due to its fwd nature but this time that gap is huge

2.5-liter Plug-in Hybrid System

  • The Estate is equipped with a high-output density drive motor, achieving a driving experience that combines pleasant acceleration with quietness.
  • Like the Sport, the Estate comes with a high-density large-capacity lithium-ion battery. The battery is placed under the floor to allow the vehicle to secure a BEV-mode driving range of 89 km*5 without compromising interior space, which enables operation on BEV-mode for most daily drives.

Hopefully coming to the US. I think this would be great for my wife's daily and the family roadtrip vehicle.

I have a loaded limited Signia as a press car .It really feels like a wagon more than a SUV. Even seems lower than the RAV-4. The same really nice Crown interior. Room is fine. It is a CVT equipped hybrid so no sporting intentions.

What’s wild is how much everyone around me loves it. I wasn’t expecting that. A guy literally followed me in a Volvo XC90 asking me all about it as he never saw one “wait that is a Toyota”.

The Stormcloud color is nice.

More to come
