Lexus Japan’s IS-C Interior Color Options

The Lexus IS 250 was released in Japan last week with some extremely unique interior color options (click for slightly larger images):
No word if these options will be available in other markets outside of Japan, but it looks like the USA is getting a solid blue option the blue & white option if the current homepage is correct:

im definately not feeling the blue or the red. why cant they just do a simple white/black combo, ala RX450h or LS600hl Launch Edition
It’s neat though that they offer these options, and in Japan you can get your interior color choices made to order. Wish they did that here in N America.
really i love the red on red exterior and with black wood trim
also about the blue with any blue exterior (in japan they have 3 tones of blue for exterior) with any wood trim
It’s crazy, even the carpet is in blue and red. Wild.

Good catch on the additional exterior color options!
Look at the picture of the F-Sport-equipped IS C closely. It’s the same blue-and-white as Japan, and NOT solid blue. (There’s a sliver of white visible on the passenger seat. For Lexus Japan buyers, the dealerships have color swatches and leather samples. I’ve seen these in person. The customer can mix and match what they want, out of the available choices. There are slightly more color choices, for instance Opaline Pearl, Truffle Mica etc. that have been hard to come by outside Japan at least initially. The personalization is greater domestically.

Looks great, these colors. Also looks like the IS-C in Japan comes with wood rimmed steering as seen on the bottom right of the top picture.
Wow I’m surprised the color schemes actually look appealing! Good decision from Lexus Japan, I hope to see these in the U.S.
