What did you change?
notice the black insert on the bottom of the back door ...I can't tell either LOL.

Hard to judge or alter proportions from a picture ... but that insert kept catching my eye. And I noticed this was a concern in other opinions. I did this before the videos came out and as I said, a crude attempt.Ok lol. Didn't seem to make much of a difference. The proportions of the car are the bigger issue.
That black slash does not bother me too much but then, I have decided against this car; I just find it too big (too long) for me. Unless Lexus introduces a sedan about the size (especially the rear seat) of the current or last generation ES, I am afraid that I am no longer shopping for a Lexus.Hard to judge or alter proportions from a picture ... but that insert kept catching my eye. Let's wait for the car to reach Lexus dealership network - I don't think it's going to be this bad in person.
We're seeing this as a downmarket LS, but it's more of an upmarket ES.
LS buyers are gone - Lexus should've made the LF-1 to keep in line with the competition.
In the end, the focus group for this car is someone who looks for comfort, reliability and ease of use in a well made car with good materials.
I honestly don’t see it being far off…
How many ES buyers even care if it’s RWD? Most probably they will see a e4WD system as a bigger advantage than a powerful engine in a RWD chassis.
I think we’re overreacting on this one.
@mikeaveli, what’s your 2cents on this car build quality next to the previous gen?
It's not a skateboard design. If it was a skateboard platform it didn't need to be this tall. The age of lameass boxy tall sedans due to battery skateboards is here.
Who else is excited for sedans with BOF Truck design compromises!!!
