You have gotta be fucking kidding me. Audi and Porsche it is I guess.
Wrong brands to be going for IMO.
As an Audi owner I really dislike the current direction of the brand. As well as Porsche.
Porsche and Audi have both seen their fair share of cost-cutting interior wise, from reduced leather and wood usage inside to excessive piano black plastic usage, as well as harder plastic materials on the doors and lower center consoles. Not to mention the removable of power-sunroofs in $50k+ cars in place of horrible fixed-glass roofs.
Audi right now has zero 2-door coupes in the lineup and the upcoming Concept C production model is only going to be EV, unlike the Porsche counterpart which will have ICE available (but limited to GTS and GT4 expensive trims)
There is some light at the end of the tunnel for Audi.. the upcoming PHEV B10 RS5 could possible have a full ICE variation for the US, and the C9 RS 6 which has been developed using a more powerful version of the 2.9ttV6 PHEV is currently undergoing internal review to switch back to a V8 development.. but if that doesn't get approved we are unfortunately getting a V6 RS 6 Avant.
BMW is the brand to look at right now, despite ugly designs, the Neue Klasse design is refreshingly new and a step forward for the brand. And they are keeping consistent with ICE and EV developments and offerings.
