CRSKTN: I am pretty sure Toyoda is probably allowed to get a Century GRMN, considering the goal of Century is to be extremely bespoke. My guess is the vast majority of these cars sold will be bespoke

Let me explain something to you: I am NOT guessing at this stuff. I *know* this for a fact just like I know he had to get BOARD approval to mess around with custom century vehicles.

The vast majority are NOT "bespoke" in that way. If you think they will build you a bright pink century like RR will nowadays, you are wrong.

Its gonna be $250k at least i have heard.

Alright. I will just wait for the price to come out. It is surprising that they are targeting such a high-end market without going bespoke. I just got my license and it sucks to see my dream cars being bastardized. I have been a fan of TMC for as long as I can remember.

This is going to be a hot take but for GRGT I am honestly okay with the racing-first philosphy. Typically a racing car translates better into a roadcar than a roadcar does into a racecar. The Toyota testing grounds are good, and Akio is infact a racing driver. I don't think all of this is that bad. I like what he has been doing overall for Gazoo Racing (which I think is good as its own brand). For me the problem lies solely with Lexus being a sacrificial lamb. I don't think the car is costing half a million dollars. I think it will be around 150-200k. What troubles me is that there is a way to do this but not at the expense of the Lexus brand. Simone Humphreys would be a cool guy to talk to I have some ideas for him haha.
We’ve all been badly fooled. The GR GT was always meant to be a Lexus LFR and that engine on it was originally developed for the LC F. Back in the days of the Lexus Performance Driving School, the chief test driver even told us about it. So the GR GT is definitely a last minute Toyota decision, a project that Lexus had already set in motion under the name LFR. The trademark for LFR was filed before GR GT ever existed. Toyota just slammed the brakes and took it for themselves

You have a generation of reliable used cars to enjoy my man, but sorry to hear it.

Toyota has always had a "we know what is best for you" attitude.

I am sure going forward Century will continue to ease up as Akio tries to sell it.

It literally has an ES steering wheel and IS interior. Its completely shameless.

They didnt even bother with any LFA branding on the concept.

Watch, if the BEV LFA ends up being popular he will be back in ten years on stage hooked up to life support telling us about how his biggest humiliation and regret is that everything good that ever happened wasn't attributed to or named after him.

I am telling you, behind closed doors people like this are demented and broken.

GR GT vs NSX 2G anyone? Which one would you pick? What? ..Too soon?

At least Sports Concept LFA concept looks stunning. Pure sports car design perfection. And it boasts defunct 5GS headlights so there is continuity. Also solid state batteries in BEV are big pipe dream.
