That is insanely bad. Targeting Audi they have nothing to lose though

They got deals on the Cx-70 already i want to check one out.

I don't think it was that bad to be honest, however they could have been more subtle about the messaging.

I can’t be the only one really looking at this like this is the 6 cylinder RWD crossover we all be asking for? Then the price is pretty amazing at under 60 loaded. This is also Lx sizes it’s 200 inches long much larger than the same priced RX.

Not as good as Nori but they have a green and copper.

Honestly I can’t believe how much I like this

Don’t forget that they have a PHEV trim and an interior that matches the handsome exterior. They are ON it.

For some reason I prefer CX-70 to CX-90 somehow. I know two identical vehicles but there is something about CX-70 that stands out, maybe some trim piece I really don't know. I think they made a right decision to rebrand two row CX-90 to CX-70 instead of rebranding or modifying CX-80 to CX-70

Also EZ-6 sedan is going on sale worldwide instead of being China exclusive. It's Mazda 3 sedan equivalent in size I think and not a medium size like Mazda 6 was.

Bottom vents (fake vents?) under the headlights. That's it. Makes the CX-70 look a lot more sporty.

Mazda marketing has an uphill battle to get this car out of family CUV comparisons. No one has ever mentioned family and cargo space when they were talking about original FX45. Sure, CX-70 is nowhere near striking like FX45 was but when you take a good glance it doesn't say family hauler to me at all.

I’m trying to figure out how a made in Japan RWD based crossover 200 inches long starts at 38k for the CX70 and 40k for the CX90. With a pretty damn good interior.

What an absolute bargain.

Not sure if should start a new thread so just posting here.. spotted the new CX-5.. haven't seen anyone else post about it yet. Will try to get better pics next time.

Seems to be similar formula to ToyoLex with heavy refresh being pushed as a new gen.. general proportions/hardpoints seem to be carryover.

It could be a test mule using the old body over the new underpinnings and powertrain.

LOL.
The CX-70/90 is gorgeous. :) you get a lot for the money.its $45k CAD to $52k CAD base. Meanwhile some Mercedes fanboys are jealous it exists and would rather get a CLA/GLB250..

Proves that premium materials don't cost as much as we are led to believe; it is all nameplate markup.
Right? Like that $2000 luxury handbag is not worth $1000 in materials. It's 80% hype/marketing and brand name that we pay for. I'm happy to have a well known name like Mazda offering premium without the high price tag. The 3.3 I6 (I drove it) is quite peppy for my needs and is quiet hauling four people. I love Lexus but the RX350h (4 cyl shared with Camry/Rav4/Sienna etc) allowed engine/eCVT noise. It's a strained motor for a luxury cruiser. The V6 should be brought back, because RX350h costs $65-67k CAD base... I was shocked. Otherwise, the RX has the CX-70 beat with quieter interior and cushier ride. But that's not why I buy CX-70 for. It's for the sweet I6 that isn't stressed moving 5 people + cargo and can do some handling chops on the weekend.

I found the CX-70 was lovely. The Soul Red looks rich but Artisan Red on the 90 is old fashion luxury :) The 70 needs adaptive dampers because the ride was very firm for a family SUV. Needs to be cushioned better and noise cancellation.
