The ambient lighting has become much brighter in 25’ RX
Can this be changed in ECU for prior RX?

My thoughts exactly. If you want to pay up more, then go for the Cayenne e-Hybrid.Weird comparison.. Cayenne e-Hybrid will be much nicer of course but not exactly comparable on price?
Thinking of dumping my NX 450h+.
Not bad, but not enough quality… Ride quality and seating as well as luxuary is not what I am used to in a Lexus, previous owner of more than 10 Lexus cars, feels more like Toyota+
One alternatives is RX 500h f-sport performance. Discussed a switch with my Lexus dealer, but so far no good or decent offer on terms for finance or leasing, so also has my eyes on a Cayenne e-hybrid.
So, what should I go for, 500h or Cayenne e-hybrid?
That is absolutely not a good idea. ^^
There is barely any benefit to purchase a X5 50e over a regular X5 40i. You're just lugging around a lot more weight without getting any significant increase in fuel economy.
If you want a BMW X5 just get the 40i. Powerful, buttery smooth, and incredibly efficient. You can easily hit low-30's in terms of MPGs without putting any work at all. The B58 that's in the X5 40i is the best powertrain out of any mainstream manufacturer on the market that buying a X5 50e (which is nothing more than the B58 + a hybrid system) is useless. It's heavy, and doesn't get any noticeable increases in MPG, and doesn't drive as good as the regular 40i according to many owners.
2021 BMW X5 MPG - Actual MPG from 61 2021 BMW X5 owners
The most accurate 2021 BMW X5s MPG estimates based on real world results of 778 thousand miles driven in 61 BMW X5swww.fuelly.com
Fuelly shows that you can realistically expect 23mpg. The HEV and PHEV look like they get a lot better mileage.
Fuelly is literally owner reported. What someone pulled off on a single tank isn't typical and shouldn't be used as the number for decision making. My wife's B46 powered MINI did this exactly. On ideal condition road trips, it would pull off up to 35mpg. But the actual average was 27.4mpg over the time that we had it. It is disingenuous to claim that low 30s should be the expectation when calculating overall fuel costs. The low 30s is the anomaly, not the normal."Look like" does not spell reality. Go on reddit and on the forums. People have gotten GR Supra's to get 35 MPG, the X5 can easily hit low 30's.
BMW overperforms their EPA numbers.
I'm not going to argue with you back and forth, but there's more than enough evidence to show that there's many people on forums, Reddit, and full length tests on YouTube of people who have hit 30's. It's really not that difficult nor is it disingenuous. The funny thing is that in many tests the B58 was only a few MPGs off your wife's B48 Mini, that's how good the B58 is given for how much more power it made. So your results lines up with what I said.Fuelly is literally owner reported. What someone pulled off on a single tank isn't typical and shouldn't be used as the number for decision making.
