Top mounted touchscreens will always look bad, no way around that.Brah, who would spend that kind of money for that much shiny black plastic and 3 out of 4 buttons are blank beside the steering wheel. The screen does look "tacky" as in tacked on. That's what happens when you try to fix your mistakes mid-cycle.
I just mean when they originally designed the dash (2018) the screen was beautifully integrated. But yeah if a screen sticks up like that it's not elegant. I've seen worse (Lincoln Corsair I'm looking at you).Top mounted touchscreens will always look bad, no way around that.
Yes agreed, the original dash was meant for that interior and midcycle refreshes always mess things up.The original dash was meant for remote touch. Obviously not getting an entire new dash for Lexus interface. Most brands just slap screens inside today with two screens. At least the LS has a separate drivers housing.
i think we all can agree the original dash was as beautiful as anything.
Why are they waiting for so long to start to do this update... LC's got another.. what, 2 years on the market?I think I read earlier (was it Mag-X?) that they are delaying Interface introduction to LC because they want to do a proper integration without destroying that gorgeous interior. Let's hope it turns out to be true.
Is there any truth to this?
Well, we all know how long they let the 4th gen LS run Would not be surprised if they let the 5th gen LS run as long.just so weird they are letting it run this long.
