My GX (OT +) is scheduled to be delivered in two weeks. Initially, I ordered the Nori Green, and I was told that it wouldn't be available until at least the end of next year. About a week ago, my salesperson texted me that there was an Earth color (Also OT +) arriving by the end of June and asked if I was interested. After thinking it over for a few days, I decided to take it. Will post pics after picking up the car✌.

Just skimmed over this. 626 HP V8 with a 0-60 of 3.8 seconds. Overkill, but awesome to have. That's in addition to the 518 HP V8 trim option.

There's tons of room for the GX to move upward from a powertrain perspective. 349 HP just ain't cutting it in comparison to it's competition. Granted this OCTA edition does push the price up to 150k, it would just be nice to have the option of a higher performance GX (and LX for that matter). 450 to 500 HP at 100k is a fair play

I know both the GX and LX have hybrid models coming, but that MAX powertrain isn't a huge jump for either especially with packaging compromise.

Is their a QC hold in Australia due to the GX failing to meet their federal safety laws? Someone on reddit claims the side impact on the drivers side is problematic, and a blank needs to be welded in?

Alot of FUD going around.

You're right. It's totally overkill. I don't know why anyone would want to take an 8000 lb truck 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Very few practical uses for that kind of power and even less drivers out there that can safely harness it. These days I find myself happy with "good enough," and GX's power doesn't seem anemic at all. More excited by good fuel economy which means less stops at the fuel pump. Hope I'm not getting old 😂
