Looking good from this spyshot.. personally dig the Genesis Coupe-style taillights. But, I don't see how this is supposed to "not let fans down" or whatever mumbo jumbo they were saying about this Integra staying true to the original formula. Looks like TLX styling stretched over the Civic platform.

This is the original formula they're talking about🤣, gotta read more into it.

I hope this does well for Acura.

The shape of the car is odd to me: FWD front overhang and proportions, a chunky almost Crosstour-esque midsection with a high beltline and a rear end with tail lights placed low on the edges of the rear bumper. The entire design makes the mid section seem swollen and long. Not particularly great looking.

Phoned this one in I see. I can understand @mikeavelli point about conjuring out enthusiasts who loved the Acura of the 90s to sell this. Don't sell the product, sell the memories of the past and a chance to relive them.

I can see this selling about the same as the ILX.

Ah yes, yet another new Honda that relies heavily on their past to sell, rather than being the car that true Honda fans actually want, it's like the CR-Z and current NSX all over again.

I laughed so hard when I read "Premium Sports Performance Legacy"🤣.
Edit: it's going to start at around 30k USD, you can get much better performance cars elsewhere for that amount of money, yikes.

Hm, that's not bad at all. Fastback styling, I'll be honest I'm a sucker for the current Acura styling, so the headlights, grille, and tail-lights look pretty nice to me. If it's anything like the Civic Type R, it should be a pretty great thing to go up against the GTI for the price, while being more practical (albeit definitely less competent) than an MX-5 or 86/BRZ.

The "integra" decal on the side helps to hide a lot of the mass in the middle of the car... without that, it's going to be even more strange looking. Almost like a Sedan+ shape, sort of like BMW's "GT" models.
