It’s the last day of 2008, making it the perfect day to list the most popular stories over the last year. Let’s start:
10. Is the Lexus LF-A really the new SC?
Early this year, I was struck by the idea that the Lexus LF-A was actually the F-Sport version of the next SC, and this was written to support the idea. This is also one of my only feature articles on the site.
9. Five Axis Lexus Project GS Unveiled
This was the first look at the Project GS, a heavily modified Lexus GS 460 by FiveAxis, which quickly carved a spot into my top-five Lexus’ of all time.
8. New Job Design Lexus LS Body Kit
Regardless of its Buick VIP looks, this Job Design body kit for the 4th Generation Lexus LS was quite a hit.
7. Lexus IS Convertible Spotted
It was a long time coming, and these first spy shots of the Lexus IS convertible were grainy enough that it wasn’t even clear what we were looking at. Turns out the IS convertible arrived shortly after.
6. 2010 Lexus RX 350 & RX 450h Details
All information, this was a breakdown of Lexus’ press release for the newly released 2010 RX.
5. Video of the 2010 Lexus RX Prototype
Better watch this video, because it’s probably the only time you’ll see a Lexus RX doing laps at Nürburgring in Germany.
4. Kelvin Tohar’s VIP Style Lexus GS 300
Funnily enough, a post from 2007 was among the top posts of 2008, as visitors couldn’t help but admire Kelvin Tohar’s VIP Lexus GS.
3. Is this the 2009 Lexus IS?
Well, we can now say with certainty that this was truly a photochop, but this mockup from late 2007 is still an appealing looking IS. Gets me thinking, I wonder what the third-generation IS is going to look like?
2. 2009 Lexus IS Photos
Lexus dropped the 2009 IS refresh on the sly, as it was spotted in a Korean showroom two weeks before its official introduction.
1. 2010 Lexus RX Brochure Leaked!
And the number one post is absolutely no surprise, the new 2010 Lexus RX was easily the biggest Lexus story of the year. This post was our first look at the new design, as someone in-the-know posted photos from the official Japanese brochure.
