North America’s First Lexus LS 600hL on eBay

A piece of hybrid history has shown up on eBay — the first Lexus LS 600hL sold in North America has been put up for auction on eBay.

As #1 of the 100 individually-numbered Launch Edition packages offered to Neiman Marcus InCircle members in 2007, this LS 600hL comes with an exclusive Truffle Mica exterior with Alabaster interior, chrome wheels and a customized Italian leather luggage set, not to mention certain bragging rights.

Right now, this auction currently sits at $50,000 USD with 38 hours left and the reserve not yet met, so the car is still certainly in play. However, it’s worth nothing the accident in the vehicle history, so be sure to tread carefully.

Pretty car although that wheel design does make the wheels look tiny.

This is a nice car but the listing does not include the mileage. I sell cars at a Lexus dealer and the reality is that with an accident on the carfax this vehicle is extremely hard to sell. We sold a very nice 2008 600h with 24k miles 4 months ago for $66k so 50k might be the right number if the miles are low. Frankly this car is very overrated compared to a fully loaded 460L if you drive both back to back.

droool. . . Wheel looks good but too much wheel gap... bit lower would make the car look clean.
