Beautiful Lexus LS 600hL Video

Once and a while, I get very focused on a specific car — right now, it’s the Lexus LS, and it all started after watching this 10-minute video a couple weeks back:

This video does a great job at capturing that quiet, subtle luxury that’s so appealing about Lexus’ flagship sedan — and somehow manages to touch on what possessed me to start this website in the first place. Love it.

I dont see how cars and get anymore advanced/better then this. I dont ever see the LS600H getting old or outdated dont matter how much years go by. This car is just so smooth and beautiful. What I like MOST about this video is its Japanese theme and music. I feel Lexus NEEDS to get back to this and be proud and make it known where its coming from. German & American automakers aren't afraid to mention German engineering, Germen this or German that and "Made In America". Lexus needs to make it known its Japanese and proud. This video reminded me why I feel in love with Lexus

@Travis: Agree! Lexus was all about luxury, quality, comfort, and reliability. That's what I love about Lexus from the beginning, and that's why I bought one over BMW and MBZ. With luxury covered under their belt, they are now gearing toward performance with the IS-F and LFA, but still true to their core value. @WorldofLuxury: I love the LED headlamps too. I've heard the front lens covers are made of clear crystal, not like the common polycarbonate with MR protection.

It makes you wonder why they put that ugly hybrid grill over the original grill it had. It a wonderful car but their taste in the new grill is questionable. If they did it like the GS hybrid, I wouldn't have a problem.

@JVX: It's been hard to confirm that for the hybrid, but I know for sure that the LS 460 headlights are made of crystal.

I don't think the hybrid are crystal and still the conventional projector type. I could not find the original document of the Koito report but here is a few cut and paste photos from clublexus. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls460-ls460l-and-ls600h/380114-ls600h-light-distribution.html

update to my post above, I found a few more information in regards to the led head lights. The Prius and RX450h with the LED headlights are using double projector and is more efficient in producing more light output than the LS600. 3 LED module on the Prius vs. 5 on the LS. So I don't think any of the hybrid vehicle uses crystal as a media to distribute light.

Is the 2012 coming out. Is there a difference from the 2011?  who has one in stock I am from I am from Long Island, thought that does not matter...looking for late August
