Even in my hot as hell country, those Datsuns just rot out so quickly, so many rust holes on the lower parts of the front and rear ends and the side sills š.
It would be sad to lose Nissan. Growing up here in Southern Canada, Nissan's brand Datsun (before their cars were rebranded as "Nissan") was the first Japanese automaker I recognized, even before Honda and Toyota. Admittedly, it was not a memory of good cars -- it was said that rusty Datsuns were made from tin cans -- but we do tend to remember our "firsts".
