Even in my hot as hell country, those Datsuns just rot out so quickly, so many rust holes on the lower parts of the front and rear ends and the side sills 😂.

Hah, bail them out 🤣

If the Japanese government will bail out poorly managed large corporations that end up on the brink of bankruptcy like the American government does way too frequently, they would've bailed out Nissan 25 years ago.

I mean... the US and Canadian governments bailing out GM ended up being a good thing for all parties though. It could be the same thing here too.

A bailout isn't enough since Nissan has a talent problem. Their management is incompetent and the employees they get aren't the same quality as Toyota or Honda because they can't match their wages. College graduates in Japan consider Toyota and Honda a prestigious job, but the same is no longer true for Nissan.

I've never heard of Honda being prestigious like Toyota, I always heard that Toyota was the pride and soul of Japan, so this is news to me.

Acura has outlasted Infiniti. Had someone told me that 15 years ago I would have pronounced him insane right at the spot. Acura was hanging on a single thread back then with second gen TL leading Acura straight into the disaster.

You make a strong point. The Lexus RX L raises the bar with its upscale interior, superior ride comfort, and refined powertrain, making it tough for competitors like the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60 to keep up. Given Honda and Nissan's reduced focus on the premium market, Lexus is positioned to dominate with the RX L, and it’s likely other brands will struggle to match its combination of quality, space, and driving experience.

What is happening? A reply to a post in 2017, mentioning the RX L that was discontinued in 2022 as a present product……


You must be talking about the TX I assume?
