Can't see too much of the interior from pics, but the cabin looks well protected and intact. I looked at that Reddit thread and allegedly the crash was with a semi? If that's true, this new Land Cruiser looks very safe indeed.

There were many other at the fair, but always the same thing more or less. Good to see the Landcruiser continues to be the reference in defense. I saw the LC300 first time. I like it visually. Interior is great.

That long wheelbase 79 with custom back looks fantastic. I wish Toyota offered a LWB 4 door wagon from the factory. The green color on the 76 series is really great. I’d love to see some sort of green on the 250.

Europeans & their brands talking about learning how "Africans/Moroccans live out here" after the shameful history of their behaviour out there is actually, legitimately crazy.

"Oh it's so humble and historic!"
*Groups like the French have been robbing the country/region for generations, were 95% of the countries trade deficit in 1950.*

First, changes will be made to the audio-visual system. The CD/DVD deck on vehicles equipped with the T-Connect navigation system has been discontinued. Instead, an HDMI terminal will be standard equipment. Previously, audio was supported by Blu-ray, CD/DVD decks and microSD, but it appears that the new model will only support microSD.

In terms of safety, Toyota Safety Sence will evolve to version 3.0, which will mainly improve the detection function of the collision mitigation brake and equip it with higher preventive safety features.

There are no plans to change the exterior design, but the functionality and safety aspects will be further strengthened. In addition, in terms of compliance with regulations, RDE (exhaust gas) regulations, cyber security, and bicycle detection are scheduled to be completed.

It's surprising that the LC300 hasn't had any reliability issues as far as I can tell...

Depends on each countries regulatory body and more importantly which engine is being sold. Down under only 184 LX600 were recalled.

The engine failing is the biggest issue for a mfg to recall. In terms of other issues, i think some were recalled for poor transmission tuning; 24,000 LC300s

Prado enters production at FAW-Toyota's Chengdu plant. The J150 (facelift) was in production for only 3 years before the 7GR-FKS V6 engine had to be discontinued due to emissions. I hope the 2.4T doesn't have emissions problems this time. At the event they also seemed to confirm the 2.5 multi-stage hybrid system on the Crown will be produced by FT as well.

In fact, the design was already almost complete at that point. It was a boxy design reminiscent of early Land Cruisers such as the 20 and 40 series, and its size was about the same as the Corolla Cross. It was easy to handle, and it was sure to be the cheapest Land Cruiser, so expectations were high.

However, there were many things we didn't know at that time. We knew it was an engine-powered car, not a BEV (electric vehicle), but details such as the engine were unknown. There was also no information about the platform, so we could only speculate about that.

It is said that this hybrid was also considered for the Land Cruiser FJ, but was shelved. The reason for this is unclear, but it is possible that it will be introduced a year after its release.
