If Lexus Racing is dead, then so is Lexus performance as a whole. The brand is a joke now. How sad that Genesis can produce more models in ten years of existence than Lexus can in 30. Sad. Just plain sad. RIP Lexus. and a big F*CK YOU to Akio.

It's like infrastructure, it's a lot easier to make something from nothing than maintain and update it to modern standards. Just ask Infiniti. Or more recently, Tesla.

Toyota isn't doing the best with GR right now either from the perspective of launching it as a new brand but it seems they didn't even decide on making that as a spinoff until very recently after yoinking and rebadging the LFR from Lexus.
