At least Audi is continuing the A8's legacy with an all new EV model in 2024 while Lexus is still asleep at the wheel with the LS.

Y'all know that I'm not the biggest fan of the ES, but I'm quite surprised that Lexus has been quite mum on this car. What's going on?

We at least already know what it's supposed to look like, it's basically the last in the row of those Lexus reveals in 2021.

I can only assume next gen will come out some time next year as the only (or even last?) new gen Lexus ICE sedan reveal.

S Class is also still very successful, and Superb, less comfortable than ES but has a luggage compartment bigger than many CUVs.

A TT V6 in a FWD-based platform with a transverse V35 engine? A Hybrid MAX powertrain with V35 and AWD, perhaps. I won't hold my breath.

That will not happen. The Crown cross already previews the next ES' drivetrain.
