From what I have heard, the memo has finally gotten to Japan that modern interiors are too barren and not nice enough for American buyers, but I'm not sure how long it will take for changes to be made.

I agree with you @LexDDas that I think the overall designs are nice, but the details have to be better: more soft touch material on doors, some sort of trim on dash and doors (wood, glass, carbon fiber, whatever), stitching on the dash and doors, better tech, and higher quality plastics. Interiors have always been Lexus' bread and butter, and I don't know how that got lost with these most recent products.

The only new product with an interior that I'd say is "up to par" is the RX. Every other one is disappointing.

The company is being run by an inbred, senile tyrant. I'm not sure what you guys expect.

They could put his name on an outhouse and they'd give it a better interior than a Lexus.

It's literally just a margin grab.

Grand Highlander interior is nicer than TX.
4Runner interior is nicer than GX.
New RAV4 interior is nicer than NX, though that may change this year.
I assume Highlander interior will be nicer than TZ.

I really don't understand... If Lexus thinks they are being sleek or minimalist, they should know it looks cheap and shitty. Period.
Pretty soon we'll see more owners do this since the interiors will match the badge

It's intentional.

You think the LC500 tail lights treatment ended up on the camry and sienna and not on any other Lexus models by accident?
