While the new digital dash and shifter are great was hoping for a new interior. It really needs it. Was hoping for pano like the GX. Like Gecko 700 badge with 457hp just doesn’t at all match. I also wish the Overtrail was available with the f sport or a different grill. Just not a fan of the horizontal grill.

That said, this feels like an overbuilt tank with all the additions and the waterproof battery. The 7 seat overtrail option is fantastic. All the lockers are great, Finally massage seats on most grades with the semi-analine leather. I just feel this LX would last 200 years.

Only 1 mpg gain is a bit odd but reminds me of thr LS 600h L. Then towing capacity didn’t grow it’s still 8000. With the additional weight i doubt it’s much faster until later on.

Now the really cool thing is this thing will be rarer than a LFA lol. I just don’t see this being high production. That has coolness in spades. Except if someone asks does it have 700hp lol.

I think a 700h 7 seat overtrail would be lovely in Dominica.

Make mine black please 🖤

The GVM grew from 3280kg to 3380kg while the fully fueled weight is 2830kg. That leaves only 550kg for passenger and payload. So you can forget about building an overlanding rig with this one.

The Chinese market model lost 41kW (55hp) to comply with N6B emissions, which lies somewhere between Euro 6 and 7. So we can expect at least that amount with Euro 7 and EPA 2027. So the 2027 Tundra will be 249kW/334hp and LX600 will be 264kW/354hp.

Light-duty passenger vehicle NOx emissions for N6b: 35mg/km, Euro6e: 80mg/km, Euro7: 20mg/km, EPA 2027: 35mg/hp-hr

Im eyeing the 700h to add to my GX garage but olny if it get at least 500HP. If not then Im seriously considering MB AMG.
Getting tired with Lexus low Hp's. Also like to add GX should have at least 400hp.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the LX eventually goes hybrid only, and when that happens, I think the GX may get the 389hp tune. Maybe more. (unless 2027 emission requirements dictate something different).

The hybrid placement on Toyota's BOF SUVs is just so compromising. Such a shame. Only possible positive is that it looks like it raises the seating position in the 3rd row, so maybe knees aren't in your chest?? But whole floor could be raised so knees come up as well. Headroom looks non-existent.
