If you look at the entire table, both current and upcoming models are listed together. Maybe LX570 is referring to the current model? ... Then LX600 is cheaper than current LX570 price? It's hard to believe.

So if the LX 570 referring to the current model, is it mean that no more V8 model for new LX?

Are they slotting in something above the LX?

Maybe the options go for days?

It does not mean J300 LX will have 570 as base model. It means J200 LX570 and J300 LX600 will be sold side by side in Indonesia.

It makes sense in some countries because the new turbo engine may not take low quality fuel.

i doubt it, just that they will be both sold in 2022 or whatever that is, because they will have stock, etc.

if LC still retains old 4.0 NA V6 for basic spec cars sold by Toyota Gibraltar, i don't see why LX won't retain 5.7 NA V8 for LX.

it might really be that the TTV8 is dead, and if it exists will only be for the LCF/future ISF/RCF and racing. but even then it might be overkill.

developing TT V8 costs money. engineering production of TTV8 is another portion of money, and making engineering cars to receive the TTV8 is another portion of money yet. so maybe it made financial sense to stop TTV8, thus no LS, no LC, and no LX or even LF1. without TTV8 the LF1 makes not much sense. with PHEV TTV6, the TTV8 just is not necessary. Germans are going PHEV TTV8, but because they can, they already have the V8, and have the buyers, which Lexus does not, to justify the investment.

PS: with the Ford F150 Lightning, and the fact F150 is such a seller, Ford can afford the develop a new or "new" TTV8. Toyota might not, it will cost more, compared to Ford, Toyota has reliability constraints.

LC300 and base Tundra (almost confirmed) get TTV6. PHEV TTV6 for LX600 and high performance Tundra make a lot sense.

That makes sense. The LX570 has a J201 model code whereas the LX600 has a JA310 model code. If both the LX570 and LX600 were new models (but different engines), you would expect a similar xx310 model code.

Without detail I will say that a recent interaction I had with someone who I think would be in the loop, didn't give me hope that the TTV8 is real.

Or if it is, it's a very old rumor that lived longer outside the company than inside.

Or that it's a super deep skunkworks project that even the creative directors don't know about, or are willing to play dumb with someone they have no reason to.

If Lexus sees this tune of the TT V6 as "600," I think that is pretty clear writing on the wall for any future V8s.

In fact it new LX must be J310 chassis code. Because "V"and "A" coming by V35A-FTS.

isnt that engine in LS500? That is a bit confusing if they call the same engine 600. Or maybe due to LX being LX570 before, they had to call this LX600?
you saw the power diagram comparison between 3UR and V35A? the TTV6 is better everywhere than that one. makes sense to add 30 to 570.

LS 500 is more than 460, but less than 600h which is equivalent to NA V12. don't know what Lexus will do for LS. yes end somehow incoherent.
