Everything has leaked.

2.4L Turbo 4 on all grades:
Base/SR grades: 228hp/243lb-ft
Mid-level: 278hp/317lb-ft
iForce Max hybrid: 325hp/465lb-ft
Towing: 6,500lbs
Payload: 1,709lbs

I am glad to be taking delivery of my 2023 next week and not have waited for the 2024. I was expecting more of a jump in specs and for such little improvement, would rather have the V6 over the turbo 4 though the hybrid will be sweet.

The iForce Max only has 20N.m less torque than the iForce V6TT.

I think the motor and battery parts are identical to the iForce Max V6.

Dear lord Toyota ain't playing with this one. I absolutely love how Toyota threw the entire kitchen sink at this truck!

Chevy Colorado: 2.7 I4 310hp/430 lb-ft torque
Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6: 405hp/430 lb-ft torque
Ford Ranger 2.7 V6: 315jp/400 lb-ft torque
Tacoma: 2.4 I4: 278hp/317 lb-ft torque

I’m not impressed at all. Toyotas drivetrain decisions absolutely suck. The 2.4 non-hybrid isn’t competitive at all. Sucks that they have to rely on electrification to be competitive.

Long-term, I don’t think the hybrid drivetrain is going to be reliable, at least not compared to the 300-400k miles people are getting out of the 1GR. Toyota is staking their reputation for reliably on electrification, and I think it’s a terrible business move.

Design looks good, and it’s awesome that you can get a manual, but otherwise, I’m not excited or impressed at all.
