Excuse me but the J100 and J200 are not one and the same. They are very different vehicles.F0 refers to the heavy duty line. F1 is the station wagon line. F2 is the light duty line. The nomenclature are constant over different generations.
F0 has the longest lifespan, with the current "70+80" series designed in 1999 (replaced the original 70 series leaf suspension with 80 series coil suspension). F1 and F2 have similar lifespan of ~20 years. The 100/200 series are the same F1 platform and 120/150 are the same F2 platform. Toyota only redesigns a BOF platform according to regulations in their target markets (safety, emissions and fuel economy), otherwise they just update the body and powertrain.
F1 received it's first redesign with the TNGA-F1, but now also includes the NA market Tundra/Sequoia. F2 is also redesigned with TNGA-F2 and now includes the Tacoma.

They are very different vehicles. For starters alone, the front suspension changed a lot between both generations.
Both are independent front suspension but the LC100 used torsion bars in front and the LC200 uses coil springs in the front.
The frame is different, the mechanical components in the J200 were beefed up in general vs the J100. I mean obviously the list is even longer but the main point is they are not the same.
I was confused at first as well since I know the J100 and J200 are different. Turns out I misread the sentence and the "20 year update cycle" was referring to the F2 (J120/150) only. The j200 platform was all new compared to the j100.
The frame is different and stronger, components were beefier than the J100, the independent front suspension changed from torsion bars to coil springs...this is without going into detail regarding all the other differences.
So to say the first redesign happened with TNGA-F1 is ridiculous with all due respect.
You are confusing the J100 and J200 with the J120/J150. The J120 and J150 shared the same platform so when they changed for MY2024 and moved on to TNGA-F2 that was the first proper platform change for them since the J120 debut.
However in the case of the J100 and J200 to bundle them together and say they are the same is definitely not true as the changes between the J100 and J200 are equally on par with the changes that happened between J200 and J300, some would argue even more.
