Has that CX-50 look on the rear end, but that's definitely not a bad thing. No way this thing will NOT keep selling.

Definitely a more thorough refresh as all exterior body panels are redesigned unlike the new Camry. But it's clearly still a heavy refresh off the old one, all the general hardpoints seem to be the same. Nothing wrong with that, still an excellent platform and will likely bring a bit more refinement with these changes.

Rati Honda Rides is at this point a Honda Influencer and should be noted as such.’Not a journalist. I see this pop up and the title makes mention of the RAV-4. So i looked at this RDX titles and there is zero mention of CR-V. I listened to a few and didn’t hear it. The Acura ADX no title saying luxury HR-V. His bias is crystal clear honda/acura fanboy.

That is outright bias and crap journalism if you want to call it that. And I think i’ll compile all his videos and data and post it up.

If you want to change people's preconceived notions, you must first change yourself. Almost the entire Lexus lineup now shares platforms and engines with Toyota, with fewer real differentiators. In the past, we at least had the IS, GS, and LS, along with the RC, LC, and even bespoke F products. Now, most of them have been discontinued, and the few that remain are aging models on extended life support. Even as a loyal Lexus fan, I can’t stand watching this anymore. How can you expect others to change their minds when there's so little left to set Lexus apart?

The issue is everyone for the most part does it. And we used to have to bare with the traditional print media making these comments. Now we got Joe blow and any kid on youtube doing it about Toyota Lexus but not so much about other companies, It’s not right. Hey when I make a youtube video you know I’m biased and I state it. Everyone should be transparent about their biases if you are going to present a review.

I’m with it that Lexus differentiation would be great but Toyota ain’t Toyota by trying to not use mass economies of scale I never drove any NX and thought to myself anything about the RAV-4.

If anything, the only cannabalism could be with an upper trim Hybrid/PHEV RAV4 (XSE, Limited, etc.) against against a NX because of the higher price points. Therse buyers won't be the same as those considering a LE or XLE RAV4 because they are more price conscious and likely cross-shopping CR-Vs and the like, more than moving up to a more premium brand.

IMHO, boring part is those 4cly engines.
I dont care they are shared with Toyota, they are just not exciting.

Otherwise, NX is a lot nicer vehicle than Rav4.

In the near future, if NX550e comes with 400+ hp motors, will anyone care that some Toyota has the same option? Who cares.
Problem is with unexciting economy motors.
