I just don’t see the TX starting anywhere near 82k. I would think 70k? This is just me guessing.

I think that is a safe bet. With the current RX Luxury pkg around 65k and the 500h at 72k, I would think the TX will probably start around that 70k mark and the 500h about 77k or so.

Got a chance to see the TX in person. There's one in Newport Beach Fashion Island mall. Looks are understated which I'm very fine with. Love the interior space. Can't wait for the TX 550h+, however the TX 550h+ will only be a 6 seater and not a 7 seater which is a bummer. The D pillar doesn't look as bad in person compared to photos. Thinking of putting a deposit for the TX 550h+ (406hp, 33mpg's) in the very near future...

And? The G16 makes 300hp out of 1.6L. The 1.5L B38 makes 228hp at the maximum. The 2.0L B48 barely makes more power in it's highest state of tune (considerably more torque, but it is 20% bigger).

Hot Take: The G16 has the potential to be the best engine Toyota ever built. It's tiny, it is powerful, it is efficient. If the durability is there...

2UR-GSE is open deck too. I don’t think open-deck vs closed-deck makes that of a difference nowadays. And there will be little benefit for a Lexus in real world, not fantasy.

B48 is also very underrated and has a high ceiling too. My point is that for a big six-cylinder engine if we want to push high horsepower builds a closed deck engine would be more ideal IMHO.

Man I have a feeling this V6 PHEV is gonna be a premiere powertrain and loved by everyone. The 500h powertrain in the RX is already smooth and refined, maybe being a little better than the 2GR-FKS. But we get a 406hp V6 that will get 30+ MPGs and reliability should be fine. After all, this powertrain is likely going into the Century SUV. Though we need new turbo-6s in the sedans, specifically the IS.

Looks way too much like a minivan trying not to be a minivan. With uglier front end. Less space. Less utility.

No badges is odd 🤔 usually the Camo-ed cars have the badges, but fully taped off.. this is just exposed and missing the badges too.
It appears this TX with no badges might have been running around in the wild right underneath our noses before the TX/GX debut while no one took a photo of it until recently?

yeah, not a whole lot of difference between a minivan and crossover. Minivan just has sliding doors and longer wheelbase. If the Sienna got regular doors instead of sliding doors, it’s now a LWB crossover, lol.
