Exactly. And it wouldn't be the first time they bait and switched a V8 in the past decade.I'd love to be wrong, but that rumor seems too good to be true and there have been many things lost in translation between Japanese and English before. I'll believe it when there is more official confirmation from Toyota.
"what does F stand for on this button in my ES500e"
"Oh F is from our performance line of models and racecars"
"what F performance models or race cars do you guys have?"
"Well no that's called GR."
Lexus’s problems aren’t something a couple of good new models can fix anymore. The real issue comes from Toyota itself. So even if they roll out the LFR or the GR GT, I don’t see it bringing any meaningful change to the brand. As long as Akio is still running the show, it really doesn’t matter how many cars they launch, nothing is going to fundamentally improve.
Lmao. Mark and Kevin are already tearing Lexus apart for how pathetically they've been sliding downhill. Not surprised to see them calling out Lexus for being barely a better Toyota. Seriously, are those execs still stuck in the past, riding on past glory and convincing themselves they’re killing it?
