Best Car reports that after a long wait, Lexus will release three all-new high performance F models later this year: the IS F, LS F and long awaited LC F.

All three models are expected to debut in November 2021 as 2022 models, with each packing V8 engines and extensive suspension changes to accommodate the additional power. According to Best Car, the IS F will come equipped the same 5.0L V8 as the RC F and LC 500 (471hp), while the LS F and LC F will debut a brand new turbocharged 4.0L V8 packing a whopping 661hp.
“LC F will be the flagship sports coupe at the end. Like the LS F, it will be equipped with a newly developed V8 and 4L twin turbo that boasts 670ps/66.3kgm. The chassis is thoroughly tuned to the power, and the double joint multilink suspension handles 21 inch tires. The cast aluminum suspension upper mounting structure is adopted, and the body rigidity is also improved. “

Digging a bit further, Lexus has active trademarks for “IS F” and “LC F,” but a trademark for “LS F” has not been filed. In addition, rumors are rampant about a new IS 500 — could that be a different model from the upcoming IS F? One forum member suggested that the IS 500 may come with Lexus’ new 3.5L twin turbo V6, while the IS F will come packing the 2UR-GSE 5.0L V8.

No matter what happens, we say more F product is better.
