Car prices have grown so of control... when you look at the rest of the market, ES is still an incredible value for a fantastic luxury car.
i assume get it while you can, the next gen will get the same bump every single model has gotten pushing it further up. Anyone priced out, welcome to your new Toyota Crown.

Sad but true.

If next gen ES gets TTV6, 0-60 accelerates under 5s, and comes with full aluminum adaptive air suspension, I wouldn't mind a 50% higher price premium.

But as we all know...it ain't gonna happen.

50% higher premium would make the ES - $75,000 car. There wouldn’t be enough buyers to justify a cost like that in a shrinking sedan market. Plus they would lose a lot of sales to BMW/Mercedes at that price

A theoretical ES500h FSP would be nearing 75k though just like the RX500

Tested: 2025 Lexus ES 350 F Sport Black Line

Here's one last chance to appreciate the ES 350 as a new vehicle. But keep this article in mind because in six or seven years, this Lexus will be the best used car out there.

Highlights and Lowlights

We Love:

• Outstanding ride for the discerning non-enthusiast.
• Good times, good vibes, naturally aspirated V-6.
• Legendary build quality.

We Don't:

• Nonaggression pact with every road.
• An additional $500 for white paint?
• That grille.
