I love that coupe!

I'm not a fan of hybrids but I like the sedan you did! The coupe is not bad either.

I kind of like the idea of having a few CT-based models. Wasn't their also talk of having a CT-based crossover to compete with X1 and Q3. Also, what would these vehicles be called? Are you suggesting a CS200h and CC200h? Or would Lexus just sell the two under the CT name?

The front of the CT is very much a natural progression from the front of the first gen IS200/300. If the second gen IS had this front that would have been the most perfect sedan design ever. The coupe and sedan from the last pics certainly look much better than the original hatch.

That was my thought initially, but there's a 10" difference in size between the CT & IS. In my mind, the 1-series and 3-series don't compete with one another -- I think it would the same with a CT coupe & the IS-C.

the CC and CS have me drooling...slap on a 2.0L I4 turbo with low weight and a 94" wheelbase with some carbon fiber on the interior and I'll buy it!

Even though I like the idea of the CC & CS, it's more likely such vehicles would all be sold under the CT brand -- makes it much easier to market.

@LFAaddict: and paddle shifters, of course. Then will come the CT-F, a hard core 4.0 litre V8 with a twin turbo 426 hp and 473 lb ft of torque, available as a 5 and 3 door hatch, sedan, and coupe. Put on some nicely flared wheel arches, a sleek spoiler, body kit, F badges, metallic/ carbon fiber/ black piano wood interior, with an automanual. On the outside, the doors and hood is carbon fiber to cut weight. Quad exhausts are very desired. Bigger lip and grille. Intake on the sides and intakes behind the fog lights. Plus, two hood intakes, LFA style, wood be nice, in addition to an LFA steering wheel inspired red leather grips (or whatever color.) Then give it a black, blue, red, and orange interior, with the LFA gauge that moves. My dreams come true :-D

@krew: Yeah, I guess it would be much easier to just expand the CT line than creating an entirely new line. @LFAaddict: The CT F sounds like an interesting idea. I guess that would make a good Audi S3 and future BMW 1-series M. I suppose it'd be priced around $45k or so.

Nice speaker. It reminds me of those on the first-generation IS. Lexus really needs to offer an option to show off its sound system design-wise!

Man, while I was looking at the teaser, before the unveil of the car a few months back I was 100% that is's gonna be great! I don't undestand how can u ruin such a beautiful sketch... Still, the interior is very pretty and Krew, the ps you did with the sedan , it certainly creates something to want! That's the car i wanted to see! Do u have bigger picture of this? As of CT-F, well a great idea but it cannot be done. I mean, we've got a FWD platform and we try to sent 350+ hp? Maybe with a 4wd ,something good happens. I don't worry about the engines though , many suggestions : -- 3.5 V6 (2GR-FSE) + Superchatger -- 3.5 V6 hybrid -- 4.0 V6 + Supercharger :-D

lets see a CT-F while you are at it...lol THAT would look aggressive

damn emissions killed this engine.>:-( One of the best engine designs in car history i think. But dude, twin turbo + supercharge, how much pressure do you think it can handle? How many intecooler's would u need to run that thing ? :-D:-D: Anyway, i want to test drive the Lexus.8-)

Now that you mention it, it kind of does. I really miss the front of the IS300. The IS300 had "hard lines" in the design that the new IS doesn't have, although the new IS does overall look more contemporary. Now if they maid a IS 2-door that'd be awesome!

@seal: nice... now we have to wait and see how many models Lexus will give us...

This car has one of the BEST looking front ends I have seen all my life.

Honestly as much as I would love Lexus to expand it's line up with different variation bodystyle in the same series such as the new CT and HS. But one think for sure is that CT will not have the Sedan version because as sensible as usual Lexus always uses CT to satify those who wants a sporty Hatchback. And HS for those who wants a sporty sedan thats slightly more upscale. As for the real performance kicker the IS-F or the soon to be avail. IS250/350 F-sport pkg. They've also convienently fills out the gap for the Coupe/convertible category with the ISC which is right around where they've decided to fade out the old SC. And I like how Lexus approaches much better than most euro brand sorta lets do all variation of body in single line up then decide whether they are feasable to make a profit.
