Lexus IS F CCS-R Video

The Lexus IS F CCS-R made an appearance at the 2011 Motorsport Japan festival in Odaiba, and the resulting video footage is worth watching just for the sound alone:

Building on the IS F Club Circuit Sport concept car unveiled at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, the CCS-R shaves approximately 300kg (661 lbs) from the IS F by using a generous application of carbon fiber, and is also equipped with a number of TRD performance upgrades — including a very impressive titanium exhaust, as we can see in the video above.

Man run this baby around the ring so we can see its time !  It should be seriously fast. I find it funny that when the car starts up and rolls away theres no hit of a upgraded exhuast... then he steps on it and all hell breaks loose. Would love to have this setup next to someone at the stoplight ! lol Run this against the M3 GTS speical track edition thats a race I will pay to see. Also the guy in the white with the TRD shirt on... I want his job :_(

Just another cheap looking hotrod with a cheap looking wing on the back along with a cheap sounding exhaust that sounds like a cheap chainsaw.

I love that sound! It might not sound Lexus at all but that's what an aftermarket exhaust does. I was expecting better driving than that ;)

    Same here.  I thought it sounded great, if very un-Lexus-like.  The driver sucked though :)

I think may be Lexus was in hurry and missed the appointment with Yamaha to fine tune this IS-F CCs-R's exhaust note...
