SEMA Preview: Lexus LS 600hL by Fox Marketing

With just a couple weeks before SEMA, Fox Marketing has unveiled their modified LS 600hL that will be shown as part of the Lexus display:

Like what was done to the front grille:

Here’s probably the best look at the real color:

I like the blacked/greened-out look well enough, especially in the way it tones down the Artisan Spirits body kit down to a manageable level. At first, I wasn’t sure about the wheels, but they’re growing on me — the pattern fits but I’m lukewarm on the color.

I'm not a whopping big fan of custom jobs on a Lexus, but this isn't half bad.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the hybrid motif of this year's Lexus display at SEMA.

Thumbs down from me. I doubt this build will in any way appeal to the demographic likely to buy an LS 600hl.

This must gotta show what all Lexus LS owners out there should definately represent like this LSh. I mean I've seen M-Benz, Bimmer big sedan hopped up. But this Lexus definately takes it!!! End of story

Ridiculously insane and badass... Proud Lexus man from 10 years ago... Owned 5 different models two of them being my current cars. Love it...the color, the wheel patters, the ride height ... it's completely different than all custom modifications done to a lexus yet subtle enough ...AMAZING !!!! ;-)

Looks good. Great stance and lines, color is fantastic for the theme...rims have to go, horrible-look like a bad BBS knockoff. Definitely prefer the Wald custom.

@Gawark: lol If you've read my previous comments, you'd notice I've had too much complaints. Just trying to stay positive :-) Obviously, there would be so many other things I would rather do and could do better, even if I were to use the same body kit. imo, I haven't seen a single customized Lexus interior that is both awesome, usable, and safe.

Thanks boys. The color of the wheels and the car is outstanding in person. See the car in person before making a final judgment. Pull out at penny in your pocket and that is the color the wheels are with a candy on them. With a dark color you need a dark wheel that will match. Everyone does silver so I wanted to put the level of style, and class to the LS600hl. I put the level of style and that is my job as an automotive style with a passion for cars.

@Brian Fox: Let me just say one thing: I love how the car looks amazing overall. Your modified Lexus vehicles are one of a few that are actually easy on the eyes while still looking stunning - very wholesome, if you know what I mean. btw, does the the radar hiding behind the new Lexus badge on the front grille still work?

Thanks for stopping by, Brian -- looking forward to seeing your LSh at SEMA! :-)
