Lexus USA has released a new iPhone app that works directly with the Lexus Enform telematics system:
The key feature with this Lexus owners app is the ability to send destinations and locations from your iPhone to your Lexus’ navigation system, bypassing the need to type it in manually.
This is a natural extension of Lexus Enform, which is meant to simplify and enhance the navigation system, but even more than that, it’s a significant display of what’s possible with today’s technology. I find it quite amazing.
If you have a 2009+ Lexus with a navigation system, an Enform subscription activated, and an iPhone (Android version coming October 15th), this is definitely the app for you — here’s the direct download link through iTunes.
