Lexus LFA Sound Gallery
The Lexus LFA mini-site has been updated to include a Sound “Gallery”, where you can listen to the LFA in its various aural states—and lucky for us, Youtube user supercargasm has posted up each soundclip for our listening pleasure:
Engine Start
Acceleration
Full Flight
Downshift
Every time I almost get used to Lexus having a production LFA, I hear that engine note and I’m back to barely being able to contain myself.

Every bit of sound it makes is just… WOWOOWOOWWOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!
The gear changes, the gurgling, the revving!!! True passionate, relentless pursuit of perfection.
I realize that Lexus lowered the speed required for the rear wing deployment, but I wish they could let us adjust the the speed requirement to as low as 20mph or be able to manually activate it with the push of a button at any speed or stand still. It makes legal cases much easier for the owners - wasn’t the point of the LFA that it was meant to be driven and enjoyed?
I think it’s freakin’ hilarious how in so many of the pictures of the HS and the LFA at the LA Auto Show, their backgrounds consisted of the other’s. i.e., the LFA would have the Hello Someday in the background of its pictures with all the green stuff, while in the HS pictures, you would see the LFA racing around on the Fuji track.
Now that Lexus has the green and the racing set up, how are they doing with plain old luxury cars that are fast yet efficient, but most importantly, EXTREMELY LUXURIOUS?!
Strange, but the trip & odometers remain static
