Looks like a toned down more production ready version of the concept shown in the 2021 reveal

Looks like a Supra. Name says FT-Se: “Supra-e”? Makes sense. Color looks like 2021 concept, but proportions and details are different. One is mid-rear, other looks like normal 2 door.
It makes sense, MR2 would be too small for a good sized battery and also too heavy for its size. The Supra size makes sense, to compete against the Cayman-e, it could weigh the same or slightly more than ICE, but the difference would be small.

With 2UR retiring, there is no performance at Lexus. The V35A wasn’t built for sports cars, at this point I don’t see it happening anymore, less so with the TTV8 apparently back, but that is a higher price point.

The transition from 2021 GR Sport, to the FT-SE sketches, to the final FT-SE concept is very interesting.

The FT-SE sketches (yellow) still contained the roofline and side skirt of the GR Sport, but the front end of the new concept.

The question what it is powered by? I think the 3 cylinder with hybrid. Not electric, not A100 Supra either.

I’ve heard three rumors now about the MR2. Rumor 1 was that it was going to be all electric. Rumor two was that it was going to use a 1.0 3 cylinder from Daihatsu. Rumor three, the latest from Best Car, says it will have the G16 without electrification.

That’s assuming the mini MR and MR2 are the same thing.
