First, changes will be made to the audio-visual system. The CD/DVD deck on vehicles equipped with the T-Connect navigation system has been discontinued. Instead, an HDMI terminal will be standard equipment. Previously, audio was supported by Blu-ray, CD/DVD decks and microSD, but it appears that the new model will only support microSD.

In terms of safety, Toyota Safety Sence will evolve to version 3.0, which will mainly improve the detection function of the collision mitigation brake and equip it with higher preventive safety features.

There are no plans to change the exterior design, but the functionality and safety aspects will be further strengthened. In addition, in terms of compliance with regulations, RDE (exhaust gas) regulations, cyber security, and bicycle detection are scheduled to be completed.

It's surprising that the LC300 hasn't had any reliability issues as far as I can tell...

Depends on each countries regulatory body and more importantly which engine is being sold. Down under only 184 LX600 were recalled.

The engine failing is the biggest issue for a mfg to recall. In terms of other issues, i think some were recalled for poor transmission tuning; 24,000 LC300s

300-series is a far more refined vehicle with much better interior materials

If we’re lucky, the LX will become hybrid only, the GX will get the full V35 tune (maybe even the 420hp tune), and the LC250 will get the detuned V35 as an option.

If we’re really lucky, the V35 gets replaced with an I6 in 2027.

What has Lucky got to do with I6? Is it wishful thinking or is Toyota working on I6?

It’s just wishful thinking on my part. There doesn’t really seem to be a point in having a V6 in Toyota’s lineup though, especially with nearly all transverse applications moving to 4 cylinder engines. An I6 that shares components with the 2.4T or upcoming 2.0T makes more sense from a production point of view. Just my $.02.
