I would add the next-gen IS BEV we're talking on the IS thread.

Epic thread!

Sorry, I would like to add that the 'rumor' should be backed by official information, making it not so much of a rumor. Magazine reports (text-only) don't count except when accompanied by spy shots.

@ssun30 : It is worth noting that one of the BEV SUVs will supposedly be shared with Subaru. Should that be noted? Or is that rumor without official backing?

Which one? The only thing I know is that there will be a ToyoBaru BEV, but not the details.
You can post whatever you think is valid source.

I only know the same thing you do, so we'll leave it as is for now.

I cant see them doing a PHEV Avalon but not an ES.

ES 450h+, NX 450h+, LF SA (sub UX) 350 or 400h+?

Probably not enough. But this sounds quite accurate, Subaru Evoltis, AWD with about 290 PS.

The E-Axle prototype is based on the ES. The only thing we don't know is if it's a HV or PHV.

It is also unknown at this point whether the ES will receive the RAV4 Prime's 225kW E-Four system or will get E-Axle exclusively.

@ssun30 , given the performance difference reported by the journalists, e-axle should be PHEV to have a battery powerful enough to give such a difference don't you think?

Also, LQ has been spoted driving/charging around:

Is this the BEV Toyota hatchback, being built just like this?

I mean, it sure seems a production car, even the interior gear I can spot:
  • Camry heated/cooled seat buttons
  • Lexus trackpad
  • Every Toyota hybrid push start button
  • Production steering wheel
  • ...

Something else to consider is that there is a fuel door on both sides of the vehicle.

Should be DC and AC fast charging, similar to our UX300e.
Also, given its 300km real word range, maybe will use the same battery pack and electric engine as the Lexus, but on eTNGA platform and on a lower price point.
Given it’s superior aerodinamics and a dedicated platform, it would achieve quite amazing real word results.
Honestly, with it’s official 10years and 1million km warranty it’s a proper offer (just throw CCS please).

I would totally replace all normal cars with crazy looking stuff like that if i could. Not that the design is perfect, but man some of what they're doing with it is pretty amazing to see on the road.
