Taking a guess here, its probably the tradeoff for using one platform for multiple propulsion systems. That being said, if the package outhandles the previous gen (i believe this is slower 0-60 then the previous gen) it should be fine and buyers still lineup this wont mean anything to the designers besides program success.

If performance cars have to weigh 2.5-3 tons, I don’t care about that V8, especially when in town it is off and drives electric. I prefer a lighter 4 cylinder as Toyota is preparing.

Yeah it’s wild to keep anV-8 in Europe you have to make it weigh as much as a house. To pass their regulations. When mass is the enemy. This tears up their roads more.
