Following on Japan's Flare Yellow Lexus GS F, the Lexus Europe Newsroom has announced the LC Yellow Edition (or LC Limited Edition in the U.K.).
Besides the obvious 5C1 exterior paint (variously known as Flare Yellow or Naples Yellow, depending on market), the LC Yellow Edition also includes a tri-tone black, white and warm yellow semi-Aniline leather and Alcantara interior. The black door panels are enhanced by warm yellow Alcantara inserts. The warm yellow shade is also featured in contrast stitching details on the white leather seats, instrument panel, steering wheel and centre console arm rest.
Sport+ equipment specification includes Lexus Dynamic Handling with Variable Gear Ratio Steering and four-wheel steering, Torsen limited-slip differential, 21-inch forged alloy wheels and carbon fibre reinforced plastic roof and active rear spoiler.
For now, the Lexus USA Newsroom remains silent as to the LC Yellow Edition. It is notable, however, that the European news releases state that "the LC Yellow Edition will be displayed on the Lexus stand at Paris Motor Show in October" but do not say anything about that being its world or even European debut. Might the world premiere be, instead, at Pebble Beach later this month for Lexus USA's 15th new product for 2018?
