A great car that Lexus put to rest in North America. Adding more engine options (CT 200t/CT 300) would be the right move. infiniti just added the q30/qx30 which seems like a very nice car, but Lexus got rid of a hot hatch that would easily decimate it if redesigned.

Agreed! The current 2018 CT update does look good.

If Lexus brought out a 2CT and improved on it, it would decimate the competition. Lexus should also expand the CT line to include CT 200h/250h/300h maybe a CT 200t/300. Definitely increase the length and width by an inch, add cupholders in the back and add a Mark Levinson audio system.

I'm curious how long will Lexus continue to the sell the CT outside the North American market?

Come on the CT is based on the Auris, which is an econobox that will never tick the boxes for "sportiness", "comfort", or "quality". The Q30 is a rebadged A-class that is built from the ground up to be a premium hatch so an Auris-based CT will not be in a place to challenge it.

The CT might happen if the rumored Corolla/Auris GR became a reality because that would mean Toyota is actually trying to give the new Auris some quality (like they did with the Camry).

Sad thing is that the VW Golf GTE is a better in every way (except reliability, but not much a factor for a leased car).
