no way! yesterday we came to the conclusion V8 was dead. the flip flopping on Lexus products is crazy from an outsider perspective.

Good call, I also mistook the battery pack in the rear for a hybrid battery. The LC500 has its 12V battery in the trunk. The transmission is also the regular Aisin 10-spd.

The 2nd screenshot is 2UR block.

Lexus did not tease anything we are not supposed to see.
Agree on that one

Any teaser was either for old products or new but not that huge overlap than the current

Creative311 is talking about a LX750h with a hybrid system pushing 480hp and 870Nm.

They also say it might come with a 17-inch infotainment and fingerprint start button.

*Fingerprint start button is already in the new generation LC-J300

*Powerful hybrid system we already know that the LC-J300 power is 410hp / 650N.m without any electric motor so those number adding just 100hp electric motor is very much easy achievable

The electric motors clearly are the most powerful of any Toyota Hybrid. Battery will also be quite big for HEV.

@Levi , from what been said by Creative311 the hp = 480 and the torque = 870Nm

with the same small motors in any hybrid system they can very easily reach those 70hp & 220Nm difference

Would Toyota over-strain the electric system for heavy duty?

870N.m is a lot for the 10AT to handle. The current unit is rated for 680N.m. If it really comes with such specs the Tundra hybrid will be very expensive.

Maybe for the top GR or TRD Tundra, but sure that combination will be in next LX, SEQUOIA & TUNDRA maybe even in the GR LC-J300, next LS , LC , CROWN MJ & CENTURY

are we sure it is the 10AUT and not a 4AUT with e-CVT that also makes it a "10" like LS/LC 500h?
