Real talk: Subaru design has been getting all together worse over the last 15 yearsā€¦ itā€™s either generic or downright ugly.

All of these design cues, the lowered beltline with angular corners, the boxy fender flares, and most especially the headlight DRL scream Rav4.

It's like they took the defining cues of the Rav4 and changed it up a little, but on a body with significantly worse proportions and Ford Explorer headlight shape.

I guess we'll find out this week, but is this a refresh or all-new? The overall proportions and interior look very similar to the current one, so I'm assuming a heavy refresh?

SUVs generally are the most boring vehicles on the market.

At first I thought Ford was really going to manufacture the new Subaru, like how they partnered with Toyota LOL.

There hasnā€™t been an attractive Subaru in maybe 20-30 years tbh.. we just tolerate a couple. Yet sales are up every year.

Sometimes I want to move to the Galapogos Islandsā€¦

Okay come on bud you seriously can't tell me the Impreza WRX STI wasn't a good-looking car.

One of the biggest mysteries in automotive industry. I'm being dead serious. I'm aware Subarus were big with gay community, surfers, chill & adventurous types at one point but I'm not so sure it was them that lead the sales up constantly.
