You mean Toyota wont confirm that the vehicle that just broiled itself wont be analyzed to see if in fact the vehicle was stock or not?
If there is a warranty claim, there will be an investigation but there will be no official comment about this particular incident.

Only if and when there are a bunch of similar incidents will Toyota comment about the situations, but never officially comment about one or another incident.

You said "we shall see what toyota has to say about this". That implies that Toyota will publicly comment on it. I don't think they will even if the car wasn't stock. There's no benefit to bring attention to it with a press release even if the owner or some act of god is at fault.

If we get some additional information on this, it will likely be from the owner.
