Dealers expect to get only two per three cars each and are making the most of that allocation

And a shame, IMO, that the regular Corolla loses the manual in all of its grades (SE/XSE); the Apex is gone for 2023.Such a shame that the M20 hybrid in the Corolla Cross didn't make its way to the Corolla sedan especially now that the Corolla hybrid is getting AWD.

This is what hurt me the most. I was fuming.
Agree! I enjoy driving a ‘21 XSE HB with 6-speed as my daily driver. I was hoping to replace it with another in a few years. It’s likely that I will hold onto mine for quite a while. Perhaps I will consider a GR Corolla as a fun car one day?And a shame, IMO, that the regular Corolla loses the manual in all of its grades (SE/XSE); the Apex is gone for 2023.
IMO not really, when I see no point in getting a "boring" ICEV (not V8, not sportscar), when the HEV is better in every way. I don't like manual handbrakes on cars with automatics. And a shame, IMO, that the regular Corolla loses the manual in all of its grades (SE/XSE); the Apex is gone for 2023.
